Excellent standby battery life and good illumination levels

Bought for sailing where I sometimes need a bright hands free torch, and at other times a red light for chart work that doesn't affect my night vision.The light levels are well chosen - a usefully bright beam for seeing at a distance, e.g. cycling or mooring a boat, a good lower white level for close work, and the red is perfect for close work.The band is ok and holds the torch on my head. It works over a beanie but is a little less secure.The battery holds its charge well so would be good for emergency or standby use - I left it for over six months and it had plenty of charge left.

Impressively bright

The H6 is surprisingly bright, even outperforming my prince-tec headlamp and surpassing my expectations. It illuminates an area far bigger and brighter than any headlamp I have ever owned. While the unit is a bit bigger and bulkier than my current headlamp, it is still comfortable to wear. I do like the option to charge by USB when doing so is an option. For extended backcountry hikes, being able to put fresh batteries in when USB charging is not an option is perfect. Overall, I am happy with the unit so far and the price is less than models far less bright.

This light is exactly what I was looking for with its features of bright white and red modes. Rechargable batteries and can also use # AA batteries. The on off sensor work very well.

Dual chargeable

Perfect for walking and trekking very bright light and the fact you can charge it when you have power or have aaa batteries handy is perfect

Does what it said

Really good to have ability to change re chargeable battery for AAA. But can't see anywhere where you can buy a second spare rechargeable battery, like you get on more premium set up.Good value.
