The materials used to make this fixture appear to be top quality. Even the power cord and switch are obviously top quality. You don't find many things this well made any more. I am using the light to illuminate dart flights so I can better observe their trajectories in flight. I apply four small pieces of glow in the dark tape to each dart flight, "charge" the flights under the black light, and throw the darts under quite low lighting conditions. One 10w black light illuminates the whole room sufficiently for my purposes, and the results are far more interesting than I imagined they would be. I just wish it hadn't taken 10 years to figure this out. If you like throwing darts, give this a try. You will be amazed at the results.

Just the right amount of UV

Two of these small lights gave just the right amount of UV light for a party in a standard through-lounge/dining room.Some stronger UV lights I had tried we're just too dazzling - these were just right.I had them on for 5 hours and there was no issue with overheating. The heatsink is quite substantial and they were only warm to touch at the end of the party.

Worked great

This worked so well with the Skeleton puking is barrel Halloween prop. I was worried with the less led light choice. I was wrong to worry. Did awesome!!
